About PFS TECO

For more than 85 years our company has been providing services to the building industry. Today, PFS Corporation dba PFS TECO works as a third-party agency in the manufactured structures, building products, and hearth products industries. Our history page details the long relationship of PFS Corporation and Timberco Inc. dba TECO, and how they came together in 2015 to become PFS Corporation dba PFS TECO. Dirigo Labs was acquired in 2018 to greatly expand our testing and certification capabilities for hearth products. The combined entity provides us the size to expand our customer base, and the depth in personnel to serve their needs long into the future. As a 100% employee-owned company, our staff knows that customer satisfaction is the key driver of growth and stability. Having a voice in the company’s future and a stake in its success ensures our staff is motivated to continually improve our customers’ experience.

Three corporate divisions were established to allow us to maintain the flexibility and responsiveness our customers have grown to expect. The Manufactured Structures Division serves clients from both our Cottage Grove, Wisconsin corporate office and from five regional offices across the United States. This group is an industry leader in plan review and inspection of all types of manufactured structures across the United States and Canada. Our Building Products Division manages the certification, inspection and testing of a wide range of building-related products. PFS TECO has an Evaluation Report product to help our customers bring innovative products to market. Product certification services are managed from our corporate office in Cottage Grove, Wisconsin with testing labs both there and in Springfield, Oregon. Our Hearth Products Division is managed from our Portland, Oregon office and laboratory, and works with manufacturers that sell both Gas and Wood Burning Appliances. The division evaluates and certifies that these appliances conform to the applicable national, state, and/or Federal standard(s) for both the United States and/or Canada.
